I am looking to get a new HD camcorder for 1000-1500 dollars. What is the best one within that price range.

I just bought the Canon HF11 and so far I’ve been pleased. It’s a flash memory type. Canon has hard drive models too.
Some users like the models that record onto disks or tapes.
