There’s no number that will tell you how good a camcorder or digital camera is – Megapixel counts and zoom range are marketing ploys to con you into thinking one manufacturer is better than another. Decide what you want to do with your camcorder and then work out what type’s best. After that you’ll have to read the reviews and talk to people with more experience.
