What is the best video editing software for the kodak zi6 camera?

The software that comes with it is terrible.
I am making youtube videos with it (if that helps.)

    The Zi6 saves to mov files. convert those files to something your computer’s video editor can deal with.

    Apple iMovie can deal with that natively and does not need anything from kodak. MovieMaker needs that video converted to something else – it likes wmv files (among a few others) MPEG StreamClip

    can make that conversion – there are a bunch of other converters… After the file is converted, quit the converter, launch the video editor and drag the converted file to the editor’s timeline or capture area.

    I have never found software included in the box with any consumer camcorder at all useful.
