Why is it that when I import videos from my DXG 579V HD camcorder, the screen is green but you can hear audio?

Whenever I import videos from my DXG 579V HD Camcorder to my computer, the videos play, but the screen is solid green and you cannot see the video. You can still hear the audio. I’ve opened the videos in QuickTime, Windows Media Player, and even Presto! VideoWorks 6, the program that came with the camera. All are the same with this problem. Any help here? =[

You need to have the proper video codec installed to see the video in your video editing programs.

    Download MediaInfo:

Use MediaInfo to identify what codec your video requires, then download that codec.
