What kind of cable do i need to make the conexion between a mini-dv Samsung video camera and pc ?
Can i still transfer videos recorded on the mini-dv tape to the pc ?

You need a firewire cable aka iLink and IEEE1394 and possibly a firewire capture card if your PC doesn’t have a FW port. Depending on the FW ports, you will either need a 4 – 6 pin or a 4 – 4 cable.
your camera might have a USB connection but not too many of them do, most likely you will need a firewire cable. also know as like E-I100 or something! 1 end is the camera jack and the other end needs to go into a capture card. not many pcs come with them as standard
