Can you put HD quality footage on a normal DvD?

Can you put HD quality video’s on a normal DVD Disc? i have a camera what records in 1080p and i want to know if i can put the video i have recorded straight onto a normal DvD disc.

    You can store it on a normal DVD as a data file, but you can play it back only on your PC.

    Yeah, that doesn’t matter at all. Just make sure that the T.V. your playing it back on is a 1080p television, others wise it can look funky.

    This is really high quality though, don’t expect to be able to put loads of footage on one dvd.
