I just bought y PS3 and i really need your help, please?
I just bought a 40GB Playstation 3 and i have two questions so far and i need your help, please. The problems are :
a- i know 40GB PS3 has no card reader, so when i want to play photos off the digital camera, i hook up the camera to the consoel via USB cable. I turn the camera on and then the console, But when i go to Photo section, there is no ‘camera’ as the source of photo. So how can i see the photos ?
b- The Ps3 is hooked up to the TV via HDMI cable( my TV is a HD one ) and when i go to settings and then Video Settings and i do an Automatic Video Output search, it can find 1080p and i accepted it. Well, the problem is that since after, the texts are too small that i hardly can see it. For example when i go to something like Online Usermanual to read more about Ps3 settings, i really cannot read anything because the words are way too small.
I even tried and set it on 720p but the same problem. How can i make the font size bigger or something?

Just transfer the picuters that are on your digital camera to a USB device, and then you should be able to view your picutres.
Also, there is a USB adapter where you can use the SD memory cards, and Memory stick Duo’s with the PS3, so try buying that as well.
As far as the text, you should be able to Zoom in on small text or on webpages by just simply tilting the Right Analog stick forwards and backwards.
Simply take a jump drive, external hard drive, camera etc…hook it up to the USB port on the front and then you–
Goto to view under music, or video, or photos, scroll down to the drive you’ve hooked up hover over it then push Triangle(notX) then select display all (view all)(press X) and it will show everything on the jump drive or external harddrive. Then either listen to or view the music, video, photos or copy to the ps3 hard drive directly.
If you have a psp you can also use that to move files from pc to ps3.
a) Set your camera to USB mode (if you can). You will then see a camera symbol pop up. Or get your camera on the computer and put the files on a USB Memory Stick.
b) On the internet browser, hit triangle and then go to View. You can then increase/decrease the zoom. Or press R3 and then use R2/L2 to zoom+/zoom-. I do the same thing.
Your digital Camera may not be supported by the PS3. As if you wanted to read the photos of it you must have all the photos in the root directory or under a folder called PHOTO. (All Caps)
Just zoom in (right analog stick) or you can Push Triganale->View->Character Size->2+

hi yes the text is small , press the right analog stick down and it will zoom in , use the left analog key to move – also are you aware that the 40gb version cant play ps2 games !!
