How can I tell if a digital video camcorder shoots interlaced or progressive?
I want a camera to make some beginner movies, but I want it to look somewhat cinematic. I know I would need 24p, 30p is fine enough. However, I want progressive frames, I can tell the difference and interlaced doesn’t look nearly as good. I want a dxg-595v, it’s not listed in the specs, how can I tell if it shoots progressive or interlaced? (it shoots 1080p at 30p)

according to published reviews, this camera takes progressive 30p.
