I’m thinking of getting a little handheld video camera, what should i get, the Flip UltraHD or Kodak Zi8?
I saw the specs for each, and i realize that the kodak zi8 records in 1080p and flip ultra hd records in 720p, but which camera is really better? expecially for posting video on vimeo.com and youtube.com

Personally I would recommend kodak Zi8. The video is great, image stability isn’t as good as expensive cameras but it is better than Flip.

Get the Panasonic ZS3, is like $247 now in Amazon, shoot good 720 video and is very good camera as well that has 10 Optical Zoom, Nice Screen
You can’t go wrong with the UltraHD.
enough heft so it feels substantial, small enough to be completely portable
Simple, easy to use and the quality is good
One nice feature is that if you need to switch from your battery pack to AAs, they work just fine.
If you are trying to decide which one to purchase, if maximum portability is important to you than the MinoHD is the better choice. Otherwise, if you’re looking compact camcorder with more features (HDMI output, replaceable batteries, longer record time) then you can’t go wrong with the UltraHD.
