How do I get a flash on the Zi8 video camera?

I have the Zi8 kodak video camera and I cannot figure out how to get a plash when I take a picture so all my pics have been dark. Can someone please help me!! Thank You!!!

    You use a constant light source, like the sun or a flashlight. There is no way to add, or trigger, a flash using that video camera.

    Why would you want a flash on a video camera? Flash is for stills only not video.

    Its a video camera. They dont use flash. Only still cameras use flash.

    You could get a video light but it doesnt look like theres a way to attach it to the camera and kodak doesnt offer their own video light as an accessory.

    There is a firmware upgrade for your camera which says it helps improve low light recording

    "This firmware version provides WINDOWS 7 compatibility and improves the following features: Audio recording and playback; Digital Zoom; User Interface; Video quality in low-light conditions."
