Kodak Zi8 Microphone?
I’m getting a kodak Zi8 and i am wondering what size mic will fit in the external mic jack. Can somebody give me a link to a mic i could get for it? 30 dollars or cheaper. I want this mic

The Zi8 uses a 3.5mm Stereo Mini. Your budget doesn’t allow much to choose from but places like RadioShack, Fry’s Electronics will have a few. Ideally, you should try out some mics out maybe at a music store that sells instruments and such. Also check eBay. I just got as Audio Spectrum AS-400 stage mic with a 25 foot cable used for $8.00! delivered. The thing works fine. It uses XLT connectors which I have adapters for mini jacks on one of my cameras.
