A few days ago i just realized that i need a video camera for my trips and i want to start making unboxing videos but i don’t know what camera to choose. I would love a HD camera 1080p but from what i have seen it is pretty expensive and i would like to pay from 100 to let’s say 300 euros. If not a HD camera what camera would you recommend me? And i don’t want a camera which records on that mini cassetes or whatever. Thanks!

This morning, when importing the videos, I noticed that the first 40 minutes was missing from the memory card.
Is there any way of finding the lost footage or do I need to hit the REC button for it to successfully save to the memory card? It is a Panasonic HD Camcorder. Thanks!
