This camcorder seems perfect for me! I’m 13 and looking for a video camera to make silly videos etc. ITS NOT FOR ANYTHING SERIOUS! I was just wondering if anybody has or knows about the remote that it comes with….I really want a camera that can pause. Does anyone know if this camcorder’s remote comes with the effect of pausing? Please help….and yes the reviews on walmart.com were no help. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Best answer by me will be given

I was just wondering because it looks good and it shoots 1080p HD video.
Whats your opinion on the camera? Im thinking on getting it.

It makes sense, but I’m asking for an opinion from someone that may have a little bit more experience with a TV. the reason I’m asking is because I have a video camera that records at standard definition. It does have 16:9 aspect ratio, but it’s definitely not HD. I watch it on my 45.9" 1080i lcd TV, it just doesn’t look as clear. I wonder if it’s because it’s destorted or not. Then I watch it on my sisters TV, which is 42" 1080/720i (I don’t know if it’s 1080 or 720) and it’s a lot more clear, and defined than on my TV. This made me wonder if maybe she has a 720 pixel TV, and with fewer pixels, it didn’t need to fill in the space, creating the clearer picture. I don’t know, tell me if it’s maybe just the TV, or if there is definitely a difference between 720 and 1080 on making standard definition look better. Thanks.

I have a Canon PowerShot SD 750 and it films at roughly 640×400. If I save it as an hd file on Windows Movie Maker, it claims to put it at 1080p with a speed of 7.8 mbps and 30 frames per second. However, when I saved a sample video in this file and compared it to the original, it looked slightly better, but it was much smaller. If I upload this onto youtube, will I still get the full hd?

Every time i try to edit my hd (1080p) video movie maker stops working. my camera (DXG-595V-HD) came with two cds. one that came with editing software (Presto Videoworks 6) and the other cd is called Total Media Extreme. When i play the video on Total Media Extreme there i nothing wrong with it. but when i play it with quicktime its all messed up and impossible to watch. it gets all messed up when i try to use it on Presto Videoworks too. And when i try to use it on movie maker it just says movie maker has stopped working and shuts off. i did change the default program to everything i have… i really want to edit videos but i cant so please help me.

i know how to hook it up to the cp and everthing but when i try to open it on windows movie maker it wont work…
when i try to open it on somthing else (forgot the name)it says i have to buy it to make my movies because its in hi-def and the other one did the same thing if anyone could help i’d be very grateful the video camera model is…AIPTEK ActionHD 720p
60fps/1080p 30fps…please help

I am trying to find a camera that shoots really good pictures but also shoots HD videos as well. So far I really like the Lumix DMC-ZS3 but is there anything out there thats better or that you would recommend also are there any cameras that shoot videos in 1080p yet?

I don’t know the difference.The first one is HD and very inexpensive, and the other is inexpensive, about the same price, and a camcorder.

What is different? I know 1080p is better for some reason. Some somone link a video camera to me that has 1080p.
