What is a Good HD Professional Camcorder that can be used to Film Skateboarding?

doesnt even have to be hd but whats a good one?

It’s a pocket sized camcorder, so I don’t know if it works with the typical tripod. I know there are smaller alternatives, but that’s not really what I wanted.

I have a wall ipod charger, so i thought i could charge my ultra hd with that and it says it is connected and it shows the battery indicator, but it does not show the lightning bolt icon that does when charging on the computer, and the red light on the back does not go on. Is there something wrong with my camcorder or does the ipod charger not supply enough power or do i have to get a wall adapter specifically made for my ultra hd. Thanks

I am planning on buying a kodak Zi8 for my pocket camcorder. But I wanted to know if kodak is going to come up with a better version of the Zi8. I just don’t wanna buy a 0 product and find out a new and better one came out for the same price like a month later.

so i have been lookin for a great camcorder. i’m lookin for one that can take 10 meg pixel stills, and o lets see full 1080p hi-def all that mess, also lookin for 5.1+ sound. what else is there, i’m not lookin for k price tag either more near 1k if possible. most important to me is video quality, i’ve looked at a sony something 500 it was 1080 but the video on the hdtv it was hooked up to looked very grainy. it was bad and i do not want that. if i knew more about what to look for and had to time to really educate myself on this subject i’d test every camera that caught my eye (that met what i was looking for) so i could see first hand. unfortuanlly they don’t have every camera hooked up to a hd tv so seeing the difference between that little screen and a real tv isn’t gonna be possible. so, i’m tryin to find all these features in a single cam. lack of a hard drive or internal memory is best. i’ve been looking around and i have even seen gps in cameras(blows my mind) and thats not something i’m lookin for but if its there nice extra my question is what camera has all these features in a single cam. or is there one?
i AM gonna need more than just a brand name. i am looking at models and reading reviews, but i believe i am noticing a lot of bias reviews. i’ve been to bestbuy.com and newegg.com and even to manufacture websites but i’m still havin trouble. after today what i saw in the store just numbers to compare by doesn’t mean best picture and other features. only experienced owners can tell. so if you have a camcorder and have something related to my question plz include the model of the camera!! thank you!!

My buddies and i want to make funny videos and post them on the internet. I know i want HD but i don’tt know what one would be best. I know i want a hard drive camcorder with image stabilization id also like the ability to hook up a mic to it. Any suggestions? Also under 00

Specifically a kodak Zi8. I don’t know what else I need to buy with it. I guess a Memory Card and a Tripod. What else?

I do have a digital camera, but it’s on its way out. I doubt that I’ll keep it for another 12 months. So I’m considering replacing it now. But I’m also interested in the kodak Camcorder. But I will not be uploading anything to be viewed online. All for personal usage.

i dont have an hdtv…will that be a problem….is it movie like quality…if not what is a good camcorder that is movie quality????????????
