I don’t know the difference.The first one is HD and very inexpensive, and the other is inexpensive, about the same price, and a camcorder.

Looking to buy a good, affordable digital camera (around 0 or 0) that can take at least 9 mega pixel photos and HD video, preferably 1080p, but 720p is okay. Good zoom and fps too. If anyone has a good camera they have used please write about it and let me know!

Or even if you know a good camcorder that take good quality still photos and 1080p or 720p with good specs…

I need to import video from my video camera to Windows Movie Maker so I can edit it.

I opened Windows Movie Maker and went to "Import Video" but couldn’t find anything relating to getting it from a camera. Just from a file.

So I went out and bought a Fire Wire IE 1394 Cable. I plugged it into my camera, then the computer. It all fits. The camera’s on. But…now what? Nothing popped up. And Windows Movie Maker is open. Where do I go from here?

I have NO manual for the video camera (a Sony Mini DV Digital Video Camera) and NO manual for software. No manual, period.

If someone could throw at me the steps as to where I go and what I click, now that everything’s plugged in, that’d be awesome.

Can anyone recommend a good compact camera that can take good photo and with high resolution video camera? is there one with 1080p ?

Everything you know please say….im clueless on this one…I am getting a video camera for my fiance cause we just had a new arrival to the family :-). Which one is easiest just to get on a dvd to put it in the dvd player and watch. Do you have to transfer stuff from mini dvd to an actual dvd once its recorded?

We are interested in buying a video camera. I would also like to just have one camera to do video and also take still pictures. Which is better for our situation a camera that records it onto DVD or a digital one?
