Which brand of Mini-DV tape Should i Use with the Canon Vixia HV30 HD Camcorder?

Which will be more durable higher quality and less drops.
The one I’ve been Interested are the Sony DVM60 premium tapes, but again i don’t know anything about the quality of this tapes.

I need to choose a brand to stick with, please post your reviews about different brand tapes.

Burning HD video from digital camera?

I have an HD video (.mov file) of my daughter’s winter concert from this new camera (Canon t1i) and Windows 7 only accepts .avi files and other windows related files. How can I burn this 1080p HD .mov file to dvd and keep the quality? Thanks.

I select the black and white effect option, the screen goes black and white, but the second I press record it flips back to colour?

which Canon dSLR camera is better?

I am looking into dSLR’s and i have two that i really want. the canon 50D or the canon 7D.

-while the 7D has a better feature set, a 100% coverage viewfinder, high 18.1Mp resolution and records 1080p video, it cost ,849 with the lens, and that is a bit to much right now.

-on the other hand the 50D has a slightly more basic feature set, 15Mp sensor, and does not record movie, it cost ,299 with the lens which is a much better price for me.

if i were to buy the 50D, would i be missing out on much of the things that the 7D does or is the 7D worth the money?

…..BTW: if you are going to recommend another camera, i would prefer that you also answer the question above along with your recommendation.

HD Camcorder with a Hard Disk or memory card only?

I want to buy a Canon HD camcorder S100 or S10. The main difference is that one contains 32GB hard disk/internal memory while the other has none.

The one that has the internal memory is more expensive, and with the price difference, I can buy more than 32GB in memory cards.

Do I need the internal memory? isn’t better to keep operating on the memory cards, and I would have the option to upgrade as soon as new capacities are available in the market?

What’s the best HD camcorder I can get for under a grand and works great in low-light?

Hi, I am looking to buy a new camera/camcorder combination device soon and I can’t find one that I want. I have been looking at the Canon EOS Rebel T1i, but video capture is only 20fps. I want a video camera with full 1080p HD capture and excellent quality stills. I am having trouble finding anything like this especially with higher fps.

Can anyone find or does anyone know of something better?

I’m about to buy a HD Camcorder (Canon HF20), how compatible will it be with my Computer/TV?

I’m going to buy the Canon HD HF20 on Black Friday, but I have a single core desktop at home with Windows XP. Will I be able to edit basic home movies with it? And how hard is it to get the raw footage onto a DVD? Can I record in standard definition video with an HD camcorder?

okay right now im looking at a canon vixia hg20 or 21 HD camcorder. What i dont know if whether canon is the best HD. Ive checked some videos in youtube. and have seen them to be great. But which is the best brand of HD camcorder that is best cheapeast at 9 below HD camcorders. and what brand is the best canon, sony, or etc… plz help.
