Uploading 720p/1080p video from a digital video camera to a computer. Is it hard to edit.?

I want to buy a new HD digital video camera but want to know what type of computer I will need to be able to watch the videos and edit them. any advise would be great, thanks again.

I’m looking for a good video recorder to film my travels, and maybe even make a small documentary,

I’ve found a nice 3CCD camera, and a more modern 12 megapixel HD 1080p camera for about the same price, 0… which is my budget,

Burning HD video from digital camera?

I have an HD video (.mov file) of my daughter’s winter concert from this new camera (Canon t1i) and Windows 7 only accepts .avi files and other windows related files. How can I burn this 1080p HD .mov file to dvd and keep the quality? Thanks.

I do have a digital camera, but it’s on its way out. I doubt that I’ll keep it for another 12 months. So I’m considering replacing it now. But I’m also interested in the kodak Camcorder. But I will not be uploading anything to be viewed online. All for personal usage.

I just bought a 40GB Playstation 3 and i have two questions so far and i need your help, please. The problems are :

a- i know 40GB PS3 has no card reader, so when i want to play photos off the digital camera, i hook up the camera to the consoel via USB cable. I turn the camera on and then the console, But when i go to Photo section, there is no ‘camera’ as the source of photo. So how can i see the photos ?

b- The Ps3 is hooked up to the TV via HDMI cable( my TV is a HD one ) and when i go to settings and then Video Settings and i do an Automatic Video Output search, it can find 1080p and i accepted it. Well, the problem is that since after, the texts are too small that i hardly can see it. For example when i go to something like Online Usermanual to read more about Ps3 settings, i really cannot read anything because the words are way too small.
I even tried and set it on 720p but the same problem. How can i make the font size bigger or something?

Its a HD digital camera and it says you can plug it in to the computer and ppl have video’s on youtube in which they are using the camera but it does not specify about movie maker and wondering if anyone knows

ok so i’m shopping for mini DV camcorders on ebay. and i was wondering how many Mega Pixels should a good one have?
i saw some from china on ebay that have 3.1….is this enough? what is the standard? i’d love to have more info on this.

How do you perform head cleaning on a JVC mini DV digital video camera ?

My camera viewing screen shows the picture breaking up into little segments and the message (needs head cleaning)appears.I tried a cartridge cleaner that came with a regular film cartridge and it didn’t help. I can’t find a camera shop that will talk to me about this.
I called the JVC number several times to no avail. Also I talked to 2 different JVC repair centers and still haven’t had any success in answering my problem.The camera is model GRDVL500U,and was purchased 11/30/2000.Any suggestions will be appreciated.I think that the new digital cameras have put the camera repair shops out of business,at least in my local area.
