How many hours of 1080p video will an 80GB drive hold?

If I get a new camera, I’ll probably want to be able to go a few hours without plopping it down near the computer and pulling the video off the drive just so I can record more. If I get a camera with an 80gb hard drive, how many hours of 1080p HD video will it hold before I have to delete the old videos?

Uploading 720p/1080p video from a digital video camera to a computer. Is it hard to edit.?

I was looking on Bestbuy and Amazon and I found some good camcorders around 0. I am looking for a Sony Camcorder that is HD and has great video quality for uploading things to youtube and other filming things. I was looking to spend around 0 or less.

I’ve found a nice 3CCD camera, and a more modern 12 megapixel HD 1080p camera for about the same price, 0… which is my budget,

Does anyone have advice on recording in low light with an HD camcorder?

We recently purchased SONY HDR-SR11 and we want to record some indoors low light nigh scenes without using the night vision feature (its for a suspense-like short film). Can anyone advise on settings to achieve a good shot and eliminate the graininess? The camera records great in daylight situations, low light seems to be a problem. All your experiences and ideas appreciated.

Let me tell you, I LOOOVE this camera, its gorgeous on 1080p, i use it a lot to record my druming, but is it possible to make the videos when i transfer them from the camera to my laptop to not be in file MOV but in MPEG? so i dont have to convert them to MPEG and then edit them in windows movie maker.
when i convert it to MPEG it ruins the whole HD :(
needs to be free!!

I have an HD video (.mov file) of my daughter’s winter concert from this new camera (Canon t1i) and Windows 7 only accepts .avi files and other windows related files. How can I burn this 1080p HD .mov file to dvd and keep the quality? Thanks.

I saw the specs for each, and i realize that the kodak zi8 records in 1080p and flip ultra hd records in 720p, but which camera is really better? expecially for posting video on vimeo.com and youtube.com
