I wish to watch my HD content recorded on my SONY HD Camcorder on my Sony Laptop(NW150J)’s screen , is it possible

i have a Sony DCR-DVD92…i first bought -R dvd’s and i found out i couldn’t edit it on my computer(like add music, stuff and later burn it onto a disk) i found out that i needed a different dvd. So i
bought +RW. i haven’t opened it and im hoping i can record and edit the dvd…did i buy the right dvd’s? PLZ help :D
what’s does the finalize button do?
i pressed tht button…is that why i couldn’t edit the dvd-R? i read the instructions
but i still don’t understand thnx

I’m planing to buy a HP laptop later on, so i would like to know which video editing software is good in which I can make movies with a Sony DVD handycam. Do these softwares convert VCD-DVD or DVD-VCD formats? Does nero produce such kind of a software?

Hi, I am currently using a Canon EOS Rebel XTI. I would like to upgrade and I wish for the following features, but have researched and am not sure what one to get.
In no particular order:
1.)Battery grip available. (so I can add 2nd batt for more shots)
2.)LiveView (so I can see what I shoot on the screen. )
3.)GPS Tracking ability (to see where the pic was taken)
4.)REALLY want 1080p (if possible) HD video recording, like on Canon T1i (so I can use for video and remove my camcorder from my bag)
5.)ability to attach to computer to control
6.)kinda like 5, ability to attach hard drive to record direct to USB external
7.)also last, the Sony alpha 900 has dual (2) slots for recording to, which would be nice so I don’t have to load empty cards as often.

I know this sounds like a lot of features, but hope to find a camera that will do all of this. I liked the Sony a900, but it doesn’t do video, which I really wanted. Any suggestions? Or am I asking for too many features from too many manufacturers products in one device?

I was looking for a good pocket sized camera that shoots in 1080p and I found the Sony Webbie and the Aiptek HD GVS. I cannot decide if I should get the Aiptek Hd GVS or the second-gen Sony Webbie that is coming out in the Spring 2009. Sony is a more dependable brand, but Aiptek has one function that the new Sony Webbie doesn’t have, zoom. Which one do you guys think will have better video quality or better performance in general?

Can you fit an XLR adapter to the new Sony Webbie HD Camcorder?

I edit videos with Sony Vegas Premium and when i slow down a clip the audio doesnt really get that deep like in windows movie maker. Please Help and thank you!

I bought an HD camcorder (Sony HDR-SR11) to film my vacation and other future events. And I wanted to make some movies of my events. I have a graphic design background, so i’m pretty good with computers. However video editing is like a whole new world for me, so i wanted to know which is the best editing software out right now? is it vegas 8, premiere, final cut pro? or any other for that matter

I am looking at the sony, samsung, panasonic, canon, or JVC HD camcorder lines and wonder if they(or which ones don’t) work with a UStream video stream.

I am planning on buying a mini pocket HD camcoder, i first had a lot to choose from. but now i am stuck on two :
Sony Webbie HD MHS-PM1 and kodak Zi8
I would be doing video blogs and mostly traveling and will be uploading on youtube . I want to know which is better. i did research and i heard that the built in mic for kodak zi8 is terrible and sony webbie’s its too loud catches every sound. i might buy a tripod but I don’t think I’ll be using it and i like the swiveling lens in sony webbie because there wont be any guessing of position of cam while shooting my own video.

any other choices? and whyy please?
