I have a panasonic digital camera which also records in video(quick timer motion J-peg)
can you advise of a good value vidoe software package I can purchase to edit, download onto youtube etc

I need good free software that can convert videos to iPod video format (MP4). I tried some software, but I ended up with a converted video that has the audio and video off sync, which is very annoying to deal with during a 2 hour movie.

I just got it,it’s new.

Is there DVD and video convert software is used for Apple iPod?

I edit videos with Sony Vegas Premium and when i slow down a clip the audio doesnt really get that deep like in windows movie maker. Please Help and thank you!

I bought an HD camcorder (Sony HDR-SR11) to film my vacation and other future events. And I wanted to make some movies of my events. I have a graphic design background, so i’m pretty good with computers. However video editing is like a whole new world for me, so i wanted to know which is the best editing software out right now? is it vegas 8, premiere, final cut pro? or any other for that matter

I used a video camera, and not thinking, I turned it to the side to get the ‘tall’ view (like you would with a camera) but, unfortunately now when I loaded the video onto my computer, the world is to the side. Is there any video editing software that can fix this? I have iMovie, but I don’t think that can fix it…

I have a Canon XH A1 camcorder. It has a 4 pin firewire connector. The manual simply refers me to some 0 software package that Canon sells and I’m not interested in spending that amount of money to digitize the video.

So, what other software can I use to get the video from the camera into a video file on my PC? I have both a mac and a PC, so a package for either one will be fine (although I prefer PC).

Keep in mind that the camcorder outputs 1080i video, so the software needs to support that.

It tells me that I have nothing to capture the video from my camera with.

The build-in editing can trim (i.e. cut off a section at the beginning and a section at the end), but doesn’t seem able to delete a section in the middle. What’s the best/cheapest video-editing software that can do this?
