Im having a hard time finding a good camera. I DONT CARE AT ALL for digital zoom, and i would want somthing for a good price. Does anyone know what camera is good for me?

I’m looking for something that films in 1080p and has plenty of optical zoom. Is there any HD camera with more than 20x optical zoom. Thanks!

I was looking for a good pocket sized camera that shoots in 1080p and I found the Sony Webbie and the Aiptek HD GVS. I cannot decide if I should get the Aiptek Hd GVS or the second-gen Sony Webbie that is coming out in the Spring 2009. Sony is a more dependable brand, but Aiptek has one function that the new Sony Webbie doesn’t have, zoom. Which one do you guys think will have better video quality or better performance in general?

… 80x and 700x zoom. Whats the difference between digital and optical zoom? Are there any HD camcorders that you would recommend. I would like it to be able to capture beautiful pictures/video and record clear sound. Price limit is around 1,000$ (U.S.). I can go a little over the limit if necessary.

I need help finding the best HD camcorder for what I plan to use it for. I’m planning trips to amusement parks this summer and I’m looking for the smallest, yet best camcorder I can have. I’m looking for a camcorder that has a fairly long-lasting battery and plenty of memory to record with. I also want one that has a nice zoom with high definition all while being as small as I can get to fit in my pocket or a small bag.

How can you see what a camera’s quality is?
i mean like digital cameras will say like 10 megapixel or 7 megapixel

but camera just say like 45X zoom!

or 1080p but those are expensive

Looking to buy a good, affordable digital camera (around 0 or 0) that can take at least 9 mega pixel photos and HD video, preferably 1080p, but 720p is okay. Good zoom and fps too. If anyone has a good camera they have used please write about it and let me know!

Or even if you know a good camcorder that take good quality still photos and 1080p or 720p with good specs…

Just for shooting home videos and stuff. Does anyone know if this brand is good, i.e. durable and high quality picture?
Also what’s the difference between advanced, optical and digital zoom? Is the zooming important? Because this camera only has 5x optical zoom, and I’ve seen others with 35x…
